 Reggie Hughes

Have you heard from the Ducks new staff?

RH: Nothing yet, I am hoping they do though. My Coach said they’re going to be up at my school soon, so I hope something good happens.

Can you update me on recruitment so far? Who is showing interest? How many offers, which was the most recent school to offer?

RH: Right now Washington State, Oregon State, UCLA, Nebraska, and Boston College have offered and Washington, USC, and Hawaii are showing me interest. The most recent school to offer was Oregon State.

Good list of schools! Are there some other teams you would like to hear from?

RH: Yes, I would like to hear from Oregon, Miami, and hopefully Michigan.

What your current height and weight?

RH: my current height is 6-2 and I weigh 210.

Any spring or summer plans, camps or visits?

RH: For spring, I am planning on going to the Washington State spring game, and to attend college camps like UCLA, USC, Washington, and Nebraska and others. I would like to go to camps that will give me more exposure like Rivals, the Opening Regional and the Under Armor All-American camp.

Bookie Radley-Hiles was a teammate last year? Bummer he had to transfer. How is the team looking for your Senior year? What do you want work on over the spring/summer?

RH: Yes, I think we are going to be good a lot of the people from last year’s team are still on it. For the spring, just lifting weights and play a little, but we mostly go over plays in the summer.

What interest you about the Ducks?

RH: I like the fan base, and I love there field, but mostly I like the new head coach that they just got from USF, and I would love to be able to change the culture of the Oregon defense.

That is music to many Duck fans! What would you bring, tell me about your game? What do you want to work on over the spring and summer?

RH: I think I would bring a lot of speed to the defense and technique. Over the summer I am trying to get my techniques better, and build more on what I know.

Great stuff, I live in Ventura, going to have to bring my 11-year old down to one of your games this year.

RH: Awesome, hope to see you there.

What do you do for fun, or to relax?

RH: Video games or just like to kickback with friends listening to music.

Thanks for your time!

RH. Thank you.
