Ducks talking with Tolson

St. Petersburg, Fla., is the home of Khalan Tolson, a 3-star outside linebacker a student at Admiral Farragut Academy and has been in communication with by Oregon's Defensive Coordinator Jim Leavitt. Here is what Tolson had to say about his recruitment.

Which coach have you been talking with? Did they offer you?

KT: The have been talking with my Head Coach, and he says they have a lot of interest in me sir, they haven't offered me yet, but it sounds like they are close.

I actually just got a text from Coach Leavitt.

Oh nice, what did the text say?

KT: It was a video of Duck football, introducing me to the school.

How many offers do you currently hold?

KT: Thirteen offers.

How much interest in the Ducks do you have? Will you visit?

KT: Yes sir, I have high interest in the Ducks, I will probably try to take an unofficial visit!

Have you been to Oregon before? Will distance be a factor for you and your family?

KT: No sir. I have not; distance will not be a factor sir!

Can you give me some measurable, what's your current height/weight, do you have any weight rooms numbers to share like bench and squat numbers? Plus your 40 time, was it laser or hand held?

KT: 5 -11.75 and 203.  My 40 is 4.6 laser-timed, bench is 345, and squat 425.

What interest you about the Ducks?

KT: Coaches, campus and football program.

Play any other sports?

KT: Sir, I run track, 100 meter, and the 4x100.
