Linebacker Henry To'oto'o

The Oregon Ducks head back to a high school that has produced many Oregon football players -- De La Salle HS, Concord, Calif. This time a 2019 linebacker, Henry To'oto'o, 6-2, 205. To'oto'o has received an offer and spoke to us about his recruitment and his interest in the Ducks.

 Henry To'oto'o

Hello Henry, congrats on the Duck offer.

HT: Thank you for acknowledging my offer.

How much interest in Oregon do you have? Which coach(s) have you talked with?

HT: I am truly interested in Oregon, and I got a chance to talk to Coach Salave'a.

What did you guys discuss?

HT: Just about the offer and he said he likes the way I play.

What do you know about the Oregon program? What would you like to learn about them?

HT: I do not know much, but they are a tremendous program. I would love to learn a lot of things.

Have you been to Eugene/Oregon before? What your current height and weight?

HT: No sir and I’m 6-2, 205.

Will the distance be an issue for you and your family when picking a school?

HT: Not sure yet.

What position do you see yourself playing in College?

HT: Hopefully the same as I play in high school, linebacker.

How many offers do you currently hold? Which schools?

HT: I currently have five along with Oregon, Colorado, Washington, Cal, and UCLA.

Great list, any schools stand out?

HT: Not as of right now.

Do you play any other sports?

HT: No, just football.

Will you hit any camps or visit schools this spring and summer?

HT: As of now nothing is set up.

What do you do for fun or to relax? If you didn't play sports what would your dream profession be?

HR: Would love to be a teacher, math. I usually just listen to music to relax or play video games (lol).

Thanks again for your time.

HT: Thank you so much Chris!
