4-star Justin Dedich

Justin Dedich is a 4-star center from Chaparral High School in Temecula, Calif. and this weekend was named Offensive Linemen MVP at The Opening in Los Angeles. He also has been in contact with Oregon Co-Offensive Coordinator and offensive line coach, Mario Cristobal.

Have you have had any contact with the new Oregon staff?

JD: Hi Mr. McCulley, thanks for touching bases, I have had contact with Coach Mario Cristobal.


Do you have any interest in the Ducks?

JD: Yes I do have an interest.


How many offers do you currently hold, who was the latest to offer?

JD: Nineteen (19) and the latest was Oregon State.


When did Coach Cristobal contact you, what was that discussion like?

JD: Coach and I have been chatting; he wants me to come (to Eugene) check out the campus.


Do you think they are close to an offer? Do you have any idea what school(s) will get one of your official five visits?

JD: I am not sure if they are close to an offer, and I am not sure where I am going to take my five officials.


As far as measurable go, what is your current height/weight/bench/squat numbers?

JD: I am 6-2, 280; bench 340 and squat 505.


Do you have plans for spring/summers in regards to camps or visits to campus?

JD: I am visiting UCLA this Sunday.


What is the number one factor when you and your family look at schools?

JD: The number one factor is would I enjoy the school even if I didn't play football.
