Hello Sav'ell, how was your visit to Eugene?
SS: Man it was great.
Can you tell me a little about what you did? Which Coach did you talk the most with?
SS: I talked with Coach Joe, and Coach Heyward a lot. With Coach Joe we were just talking a lot of football on the defensive line, how to beat your man, where I'd fit in their defensive scheme, stuff like that. With Coach Heyward it was a lot about Oregon in general, the team, the academics, showing us around the facility, all that good stuff.
Did you visit with any friends or family members?
SS: Yeah family, and friends.
Are you high on any particular schools at this time?
SS: All schools are equal at this time, but Oregon and Washington are recruiting me the hardest. I've talked to both of them the most out of any schools. It's still very early so I have time to communicate with the others.
Current height/height/bench/squat numbers?
SS: 6-4, 235; bench is 275, haven't maxed squat yet.
What plans do you have moving into spring and summer in regards to other visits or camps?
SS: I haven't really planned that out yet. Going to sit down with family and talk it out.
Do you enjoy the recruiting process or is it kind of stressful?
SS: I enjoy it. But I'll never enjoy it more than playing ball.
That's good, do you think you will wait to LOI (Letter of Intent) day to announce your school?
SS: I have no idea as of now honestly.
When you and your family sits down and looks at schools what are the most important factors?
SS: The education, and what school could give me the best chance to play at the highest level which has always been my dream.
What position do you want to play in college? Does Oregon talk with you about how you would fit in or be used at the positions within their scheme?
SS: I want to play either DE (Defensive End) or OLB (Outside Linebacker) in college and Oregon would see me as an OLB.
Do you play other sports? What do you do for fun away from football?
SS: I play basketball and I run track, but I decided not to do track this year so I can prepare for football season.
Thanks for your time!
