 John Jackson III

Hello John, are you visiting Eugene this Thursday (4/6/17)?

JJIII: Yes I am.

Have you been to Oregon before?

JJIII: No, this will be my first time in Oregon.

Congrats on the Ducks offer. When did you pick that up? Which coach have you been talking with?

JJIII: Thank you! I have been talking to Coach Heyward..

Will you be visiting with family? How much interest in the Ducks do you have?

JJIII: I have a lot of interest in Oregon, and I will be visiting with my dad.

Is it an official visit? What are some of the things you hope to learn more about?

JJIII: It is not an official.

How is recruiting going, who was the last school to offer, how many offers do you currently hold?

JJIII: UNLV was the last school to offer me, along with UNLV, TENN, BYU, and Oregon for football. For baseball, SDSU & UCSD have offered.

Do you want to play baseball in college also?

JJIII: Maybe, I will probably choose one based on what I think I have the best shot at.

What position do you play in baseball?

JJIII: Third base and pitcher.

I am sure your father is very helpful having gone through this process, what is some of the advice he has given you?

JJIII: He has told me to go out and visit new schools that you have never been to.

Do you have a dream school you would like to hear from?

JJIII: No dream schools off the top of my head.

What your current height/weight?

JJIII: 6-2, 190.

Driving or flying? How long will you be in Eugene?

JJIII: Flying, just one day.

Have a safe trip, and fun in Eugene.

JJIII: Thank you!
