"He (Taggart) just said put the ball in my hands and try to make plays," related Nelson to his first contact with Taggart. "He told me we'll see what happens."
Nelson can make a lot of things happen. During his career at Oregon he has scored a total of 22 touchdowns by rushing, receiving returning punts and kickoffs. He's also played safety during his sophomore year in 2015.
No wonder Taggart wants to put the ball in Nelson's hands, and likely that will happen a lot in 2017 also.
