4-star DE Jeremiah Martin offered by the Oregon Ducks.

We caught up with Jeremiah Martin on Monday and talked with him about his offer from Oregon. Here is what the talented defensive end from Cajon High School in San Bernardino, Calif., had to say.

Hello Jeremiah, congrats on the Oregon offer.

JM: Thank you so very much.

No problem, which coach did you talk with, when did he offer? Was the offer a surprise?

JM: I was offered on 5-9-17. Coach Charles Clark gave me the offer and I was very surprised.

How much interest in the Ducks do you have?

JM: I have a lot.

What do you know about the Ducks or has you having a lot of interest in them?

JM: The Ducks are a great program! They have always been that school I have known about since I was younger because it is my nephew’s favorite school.

Does your nephew play ball?

JM: Yeah, he is going to be a freshman next year.

Have you been to Eugene before?

JM: No sir.

How is recruiting going? How many offers do you currently have?

JM: Recruiting is going great and I have twelve offers.

What did you and Coach Clark discuss?

JM: He just talked about my film, and how much he is impressed with it.

What your current height/weight/Bench/Squat numbers? What weight would you like to be at before your senior season?

JM: My current height 6-5, weight 236, bench 285, squat 375 or 400. I would like to weight 245-250 before senior season.

Nice, do you play any other sports?

JM: I play basketball too.

What do you like to do for fun or to relax away from football?

JM: Just sleep, car shows and such.

You like classic cars?

JM: Yeah, and modern cars too.

Great, thanks for the update!
