Nate Kruger, Assistant Director for Communications

Eugene, Ore. - Nate Krueger has been hired as assistant director of Athletic Communications and will work as the primary contact for Oregon track and field, volleyball, cross country and beach volleyball, University of Oregon Director of Athletics Rob Mullens announced on Monday.

Krueger has spent the last four years in the Oregon athletic communications office, the first three as a student intern and the fourth as an athletic communications assistant. 

During the 2016-17 academic year, Krueger served as sport information director for the perennial national champion Oregon track and field programs, covering the Women of Oregon's historic 2016-17 triple crown, as well as the UO volleyball, lacrosse, men's tennis, women's golf and beach volleyball teams. He was also a secondary contact for Oregon football, women's basketball and softball. As a student intern, Krueger was the lead intern for UO baseball communication efforts for three seasons. 

The native of Seattle, Wash,. earned his bachelor's degree in journalism, with a focus in public relations, from the University Oregon in August 2016.
