Justin Phinisee recorded his first career interception in the fourth quarter. Phinness was Oregon's leading tackler Saturday with eight solo tackles including one sack. He also had one break up.

Oregon's special teams had a big day by scoring two touchdowns. Moore also seven solo tackles, one break up and an interception. Moore's intercepiton in the third quarter is his first of the season and seventh of his career.

Perry had been the nation's leading rusher averaging 183 yards per game. However against Oregon he was held to net 26 yards on 11 carries.
"We tried to runt the footbal, but give Oregon credit," said Michigan Head Coach Lloyd Carr. "The completely stopped the running game."

Lewis' blocked punt is the second-consecutive game that he has blocked a punt and is his seventh career blocked punt. Lewis also had five solo tackles and a pass break up.

Carey's recovery for touchdown is his first career touchdown at Oregon.
"They ran one back on us and blocked a punt," said Carr of Oregon's special teams. "Those are big plays; plays that win games."

"Great crowd, great stadium, great spirt," said Carr of Autzen Stadium. "It's a great place to play football."
Oregon's victory over the third-ranked Wolverines at Autzen is the high ranked team the Ducks have defeated at home during the Mike Bellotti era. Michigan is the highest-ranked opponent Oregon has faced since defeating No. 3 Colorado 38-16 at the Fiesta Bowl in 2002.

Oregon's win on Saturday kept the Ducks unbeaten in non-conference games at Autzen (20-0) during Bellotti's realm. The Ducks now have won 21 straight non-conference games.
"The fans helped us a great deal," remarked Oregon Head Coach Mike Bellotti after the Oregon win. "The atmosphere out there was so electric."
