Clear thinking Kendall has some clear plans.

Jeff Kendall is an impressive young man that has some big plans for his future. Kendall is one of 29 high school seniors that gave a letter of intent to attend the University of Oregon next fall. At 6-4, 275, it is easy to see that he has the physical tools to play football for the Ducks, but what about his academic skills? After all, young Mr. Kendall is planning on going to Medical School after he finishes college.

Well, if his cumulative 3.97 GPA over the last seven terms is any indicator then Jeff will do just fine in the classroom, thank you very much.

Kendall attends Air Academy High School, located at the Air Force Academy. Though the high school is a public school, it still has a feel of DOD School -- known as one of the best school systems in the country. Talking to Kendall was proof enough to become a believer that this guy is the real deal. He is a very sharp and articulate young man that has some clear goals in mind for his future. Right now he is preparing for closing out his high school year in order to graduate and move on to Eugene. He is working out by lifting weights, running and doing some position specific exercises outlined in a handbook sent to him by the football program.

Kendall was a highly regarded recruit that was high on many programs' wish lists. He is smart and decisive. He gave a verbal commitment to Oregon last August after making an unofficial visit to the Eugene campus. Once he saw Eugene he knew it was the place for him.

"Oregon has the total package," says Kendall. "All the other programs are modeling after it."

Jeff will be a welcome addition to the football team and the University. He's a young man with a great future ahead of him both on and off the playing field.
