Monday Night Football Update

Denver running back and Oregon alum Reuben Droughns, rushed for 110 yards on 24 carries in the Broncos' 23-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night. <br><br> Droughns also recorded his first career fumble in the second quarter of the game as he tried to twist for additional yardage after contact was made by Bengal defenders.

Cincinnati's Madieu Williams, a safety, recovered the fumble. The turnover cost Denver three points when Bengal place kicker Shayne Graham converted a 34-yard attempt giving Cincinnati a 13-7 lead. Graham was 3-for-3 in field goal attempts.

Droughns also caught four passes for 20 yards with a long of 9 yards.

Monday's game was the third straight week the former Duck had more than 100-yards rushing. Last week against Oakland, the Orange Country, Calif. native had 176 yards on 39 touches and a touchdown against Oakland. Two weeks ago against Carolina, Droughns made his debut as a running back and responded with 196 yards on 30 carries.

Droughns lettered at Oregon (1998-99) and had 2,151 career yards as a Duck ball carrier.

Cincinnati cornerback Rashad Bauman was on the listed as not active for the game.
