Gipson Makes It Official
Gipson who measures 5-9, 170, is a multi-talented player who was also rated among the top twenty wide receivers in the West by PacWest football. Although he prefers the receiver position, the Oregon coaches have convinced Aaron that his college future is at cornerback. In fact, the Alliance network must agree since Gipson has moved up from #76 in the country on their defensive back list, to #20 at the end of this season. Clearly his stock has shot up. Aaron Gipson is also an explosive kick return man and will get an early look on special teams. In the end Aaron always knew he wanted to be a Duck and chose Oregon over offers from Kansas and Wisconsin.
