While he did not make a commitment to the Ducks, Oregon is now his current favorite.
"They are number one on my list now," said Jones of Oregon.
Jones does not have a date in mind on when he will make his commitment. He wants to discuss his trip with his parents and carefully weigh his options. He is scheduled to visit Washington State University next week. The first day he can formally commit to a team is next Wednesday, February 2.
Jones had signed a national letter of intent with USC last season but was unable to enroll because of entrance requirements.
To Jones' knowledge, he was the only visitor to Oregon this weekend. He did not see his former Long Beach Poly teammate Charles Owens, who had been scheduled to visit. Jones' host on his trip was Garren Strong.
