Snyder Selected by 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers selected offensive lineman Adam Snyder with the 30th pick of the 3rd round (90th overall) in the NFL draft on Saturday. <br><br> Snyder becomes the first Oregon offensive lineman selected in the NFL draft since 1997 when Paul Wiggins was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 3rd round (82nd overall pick).

Snyder, 6-5, 318, 5.38 was selected as a guard although he played mostly tackle with the Ducks. The four-year letterman had 34 career starts for the Ducks and was name 1st Team All-Pac 10 after the 2003 season. He anchored a line that produced four 1,000-yard rushers in the four years Snyder played for the Ducks.
