Will be busy this summer

Mau Nomani indicated that he would not be able to attend any football camps this summer as he has other responsibilities. He is a student body officer for Tigard High School and will be involved in leadership conferences, but he does plan to keeping working out in preparation for football season. He also indicates he has picked up another scholarship offer.

"I have three scholarship offers now, " said Nomani. "BYU, Nebraska and Oregon."

Nomani, 6-4.5, 278, mentioned he has a stack of letters coming in and all three of his offers are in writing. He lists Oregon, Nebraska, OSU, Washington and BYU as his top-5 programs.

Nomani was unable to attend the Nike Camp held in Eugene last Saturday but was at the Oregon half-day camp on Sunday along with about 200 other student-athletes. Nomani did not know if anyone committed to Oregon after the half-day camp.

In May Nomani traveled to Berkeley and participated in the Scout.com combine. He had 5.59-second 40-yard dash, 5.28-second shuttle, 24-inch vertical jump and 9.16 in the cone run.
