(Photo Left) The Oregon football camp is one of the prime places coaches can evaluate talent and at the conclusion of the camp it is expected that Oregon's first verbal commitment might be made. Potential recruits also had an opportunity to participate in a number of camps including combines put on by Scout.com. In January, the select U.S. Army All-Star game combine is held at San Antonio, Texas. Scout.com operate a total 11 other camps held at Durham (N.C.), Jacksonville, Champaign (Ill.), Auburn (Ala.), Starkville (Miss.), Tampa, Los Angeles, Berkeley, New Orleans, Waco (Texas) and Akron.
(Photo Right) Who is that man on the scooter? None other than Oregon defensive lineman Haloti Ngata who is spending the summer in Eugene in preparation for the upcoming football season. Ngata has indicated that he plans to enter the 2006 NFL draft and hopes to make the 2005 Duck season a memorable one.
