Play Me Early

San Mateo (Calif.) running back Dominic Williams (6-2, 210, 4.5) still says USC leads slightly over Oregon, California, Utah and Washington. The Trojans and Cal have not offered.

"I think once football season starts up that both USC and Cal will offer," said Williams, from Aragon High School. "USC still has the edge on the other schools in my top five. They've been a dream school of mine to go to and they're a strong winning team. I feel really comfortable with them…they're close to home and they're also recruiting me the hardest," he said.

"Oregon falls in right after USC. They're pretty close to home and I've got a lot of friends of the family out there. My coaches have also told me that they've got a really good program and that they're really interested in me.

"Cal is my #3 school still. They're a great team. I know that I could also get a good education there too.

"But when it all comes down to it, I'm really looking for a program where I can get enough playing time right away. I'm going to set up some dates for official visits after the season so I can stay focused. I'd like to get out to all five of these schools if I can," he concluded.
