The Oregon Ducks defeated the Fresno State Bulldogs, 37-34 on Saturday. Terrence Whitehead rushed for 96 yards and moved to fifth all-time on the Oregon rushing list (2,280 yards), passing Maurice Morris (2000-01/2,237 yards). Whitehead's efforts on Saturday (20 carries for 96 yards) is his season best.

Saturday's crowd of 58,201 marked Oregon's 38th consecutive sellout at Autzen Stadium. It was the fifth largest crowd in stadium history.

Fresno State's Pinegar tied the Autzen Stadium record with 33 pass completions, tying Bring Young's Ty Detmer on Sept. 29, 1990. Pinegar was 33-of-43 for 418 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.

Senior cornerback Aaron Gipson picked off Pinegar's pass and has an interception in all three of Oregon's games this season. Gipson now has a total of nine career interceptions and with two more he will move onto the Oregon top-10 list for career interceptions.

Senior wide receiver Demetrius Williams recorded 95 receiving yards on Saturday and moved to eighth all-time on the UO receiving list surpassing Damon Griffin (1994-98/1,871 yards) and Pat Johnson (1994-97/1,919 yards). Williams now has 1,922 career receiving yards also moved into a tie for sixth with Bob Newland (1968-70) on the UO receptions list with 125.

Oregon's win over No. 23 ranked Fresno State breaks a five game losing streak to ranked opponents. The last time the Ducks beat a ranked opponent was on Sept. 20, 2003, when Oregon beat Michigan (then ranked No. 3) by a score of 31-27.

Clemens, a senior, threw for 332 yards against Fresno State and passed Oregon legend Dan Fouts (1970-72/5,995 yards)for fifth on the Oregon career passing list. Clemens now has 6,054 career yards passing.

Oregon will face USC next Saturday at Autzen Stadium with a 4 p.m. kickoff time. The game will be carried live on ABC.
