Week 2 for NFL Ducks

The Ducks celebrated a victory yesterday and Duck Alumni in the NFL worked on Sunday. One former quarterback may have had his worst day as a pro. On Sunday night a former Duck receiver had a big night on Sunday Night Football.

It has been a rough start for the Green Bay Packers (0-2) as they lost their second straight game to the Cleveland Browns (1-1), 26-24. Brown's running back Reuban Droughns rushed for 50 yards on 20 carries and caught four passes for 29 yards.

Samie Parker had three catches for 86 yards for the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night in the Chief's 23-17 win over the Oakland Raiders. The Chiefs are now 2-0 for the season while the Raiders are 0-2.

The Tennessee Titans (1-1) beat the Baltimore Ravens (0-2) by a 25-10 score and Titan linebacker Peter Sirmon had three tackles.

The Indianapolis Colts improved to 2-0 for the season by defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars, 10-3. Tight end George Wrighster played but was not credited with a catch for Jacksonville. The loss drops Jacksonville to 1-1.

Running back Maurice Morris had two carries for 10 yards as the Seattle Seahawks (1-1) dropped the Atlanta Falcons, 21-18. Atlanta is 1-1 for the young season.

Even though the Philadelphia Eagles bombed the San Francisco 49ers, 42-3, two former Ducks saw action for the 49ers. Offensive lineman Adam Snyder played and safety Keith Lewis also played but was not given a statistical credit. Both teams are 1-1 for the season.

Quarterback A.J. Feeley was listed as Not Active for the Miami Dolphins (1-1) against the New York Jets (1-1). The Jets won the game 17-3.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers improved to 2-0 for the season and the Buffalo Bills dropped to 1-1, when the Bucs won the Sunday match up, 19-3. Tampa Bay punter Josh Bidwell had six punts for a 46.2-yard average and a long of 61 yards with one punt downed inside the 20.

Justin Peelle started for the San Diego Chargers (0-2) at tight end and defensive end Igor Olshansky was out for with an ankle/knee problem when the Chargers lost to Denver Broncos (1-1) by three, 20-17.

The Carolina Panthers (1-1) surprised the New England Patriots, 27-17. The loss dropped the defending Super Bowl Champions to 1-1 for the season. Linebacker Wesly Mallard had one tackle for New England.

Everything went wrong for Joey Harrington and the Detroit Lions. Harrington had five interceptions on a 19-of-37 for 196 yards and one touchdown outing. The Lions lost to the Chicago Bears, 38-6, making both club's records 1-1 for the season.
