Week 4 for NFL Ducks

A former Duck quarterback nearly recaptured the title of Captain Comeback, but after a reversed call, the only thing that remained constant was the failure of his team to find a way to win. Two other Ducks traveled to Mexico City for the first regular season NFL game held outside the United States.

Harrington was 15-of-27 for 137 yards but led a final drive with his team trailing by 4 points and startin off at the Lions' 7-yardline and 93 yards to go for a win. Harrington looked like the same player he was at Oregon as he found receivers in a comeback drive and moved the ball to the Buc's 21. A false start moved the ball back to the 26 and Harrington hit Roy Williams for a 14-yard gain to the 12. With 30 seconds left on the clock, Harrington hit tight end Michael Pollard in the end zone, but the touchdown was reversed on a play review. The ball was ruled incomplete and it was 3rd and 1. On the next play, Harrington hit Mike Williams, but Williams did not have both feet in bounds making it fourth down. Harrington tried one more pass to Roy Williams, but the ball sailed out of bounds and time expired. The Lions fall to 1-3 for the season while the Buccaneers improved to 4-0. Tampa Bay punter Josh Bidwell had 3 punts averaging 46.7 yards per punt with a long of 50 and one inside the 20-yardline.
