Nation's #1 Linebacker Headed to San Antonio

COLTON, Cal. (October 6, 2005) --- Recognized as one of the top football players in the nation, Allen Bradford of Colton, Cal., has been named a 2006 U.S. Army All-American. Bradford will join a stand-out list of athletes playing in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Allen Bradford is the #1 Linebacker in the Country, and he is headed to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

The classic East vs. West match-up will be played and televised live on NBC January 7th at 1:00 p.m. (EST) and will feature the top 78 prep football student-athletes in the country.

Allen Bradford (6-0/222) of Colton High School in California was a standout at the Scout.com Combine in Los Angeles, and he is tabbed the #1 Linebacker in the country by Scout.com.

According to Chris Fetters, regional manager of Scout.com - West, "Probably the best linebacker in the nation, Allen has the potential to be an impact player in college as a freshman. He has great speed and can hit like a truck while also having good lateral movement and coverage ability."

Bradford's recruitment is still open, and he will choose between Cal, Oregon, UCLA, USC, and Washington among others.
