Miller: I think I've got it narrowed down..."

Lake Oswego's do-everything linebacker and running back Gabe Miller said Sunday, that he has whittled his many possible college choices down to three, maybe four schools.

"I'm still not really too sure," Miller said. "I think I've got it narrowed down to both the Oregon schools and Cal."

Miller, however, is taking his official visit to Colorado this weekend.

"I think they are still in there," he said of the Buffs.

The senior took his only other official visit to Oregon on Sept. 29, the weekend of Oregon's battle with top-ranked USC.

Although Miller previously expressed interest in Boise State and Washington, he said that Oregon, Oregon State, California and Colorado are a solid group of favorites.

Miller said his focus this week is on the Rex Putnam High School Kingsmen, his Lake Oswego Lakers' final regular season opponent.

"You can't look past them," he said of his 2-6 opponent.

The Lakers, who are undefeated at 8-0 on the season, have guaranteed themselves a spot in the following week's first round of the OSAA playoffs.
