New Highlights Circulating

Tight end Rob Overton (6-5, 224, 4.75), of Hayward, Calif., continues to favor Oregon (offer) slightly over Utah, Mississippi (offer), Vanderbilt (offer) and USC.

"I am sending out highlight film this week," said Overton, of Moreau Catholic High School. "I'm going to wait for calls once schools get a chance to look at the film, and talk about setting up officials then."

Overton noted that should USC or Utah offer, they would move to the top. But until they do, all schools are ranked the same under Oregon.

"Oregon is kind of close to home and they are ranked up there pretty high. I went up there last year and I liked their facilities. I really like their coaching staff. I got along with their tight end coach (Neal Zoumboukos).

"I have been talking with the offensive line coach (Pat Ruel) at USC," he said. "They call every couple weeks and I get a lot of letters from them.

"I want to go someplace where I will be happy with a good city around it and a good education. By good city, I mean a place where there is a lot to do and stuff like that," Overton expressed.

Overton reports 38 catches for 540 yards and one touchdown this season with two games remaining. Moreau Catholic (0-8) travels to San Lorenzo on Nov. 4.
