Wright favors USC slightly over Oregon, Nebraska, Arizona and Arizona State. He says all his favorites have offered him, except USC is still just a verbal offer. "Everyone else has sent me a written offer," said Wright. "I like USC a lot because they need cornerbacks and I'd be able to compete early. Also, my mom likes them because they are close to home."
He has already visited Oregon (October 15) and Nebraska (September 2) officially. "My Oregon trip was really nice," Wright said. "I like the coaches a lot and they are all really cool guys. I got along well with all the players too. Also, I really like the area and they aren't too far away. I love the facilities. They have some of the best facilities around and the fans get crazy."
"Nebraska started the season really strong, but have struggled lately. They still play hard and I think their coaches will turn it around."
"I probably won't decide on a school until after my visits. Our playoffs start next week and our coach doesn't want us tripping around during that time. I'll definitely see where I can play. I really want to play early and go where I'm needed."
He reports a 2.5 GPA and a 960 SAT. He retook the SAT on November 5.
