Week 11 for NFL Ducks

The Party Starter had a big day today. The Party Starter you say? That is what a former Duck running back was called today on one of the many NFL updates. Meanwhile, the former Captain Comeback started again today but it was a tough outing in Week 11 of the NFL Ducks.

The Party Starter (Reuben Droughns) came out and had 166 yards on 30 carries including a 75-yard run for a touchdown in leading the Cleveland Browns (4-6) in a 22-0 win over the Miami Dolphins (3-7).

Captain Comeback maybe on hold for another week as Joey Harrington was 17-for-25, 169 yards and lost a fumble, but the Detroit Lions (4-6) fell to the Dallas Cowboys (7-4) by a score of 20-7.

The Seattle Seahawks (8-2) chalked up another win on Sunday over the San Francisco 49ers, 27-25. Running back Maurice Morris had two carries for 25 yards for the Seahawks. Offensive lineman Adam Snyder and safety Keith Lewis saw action in the game for the 49ers. San Francisco listed wide receiver Marcus Maxwell as Not Active. San Francisco is now 2-8 for the season.

Defensive end Igor Olshansky had two assisted tackles for the San Diego Chargers (6-4) in a 48-10 blowout of the Buffalo Bills (4-6). Tight end Justin Peelle was on the participation list for San Diego and the Chargers list quarterback A.J. Feeley as Not Active.

Wesly Mallard, a linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-3) saw his first action for his new team and had an assisted tackle. Punter Josh Bidwell had three punts averaging 50 yards with a long of 59 and two inside the 20 for Tampa Bay in a 30-27 win over the Atlanta Falcons (6-4).

Cornerback Rashad Bauman was listed as Not Active for the Cincinnati Bengals (7-3) in their 45-37 loss to the 10-0 Indianapolis Colts.

While the Jacksonville Jaguars (7-3) beat the Tennessee Titans, 31-28, Jaguars' tight end did not have a catch but did participate in the game. Titans' linebacker Peter Sirmon had four tackles and two assisted tackles. The loss dropped Tennessee to 2-8 for the year.

Wide receiver Samie Parker was back in action for the Kansas City Chiefs (6-4) in the 47-17 win over the Houston Texans (1-9). Parker had two grabs for 23 yards and a touchdown. Cheifs' defensive tackle Junior Siavii played in the game.
