Week 16 for NFL Ducks

A former Duck signal caller was back starting for his team, and while the game may have been ugly to watch it was a win for Duck fans everywhere. There is one week left in the regular NFL season but for the Christmas weekend it was Week 16 for the NFL.

Harrington finished the day 17-of-30 for 210 yards and one interception. The Lions improved their record to 5-10 while the Saints dropped to 3-12 for the year.

The Pittsburgh Steelers (10-5) destroyed the Cleveland Browns (5-10) 41-0. Browns' running back Reuben Droughns was held to his lowest output rushing the ball for the season, 36 yards on 10 carries. He also had on pass reception for 29 yards.

Safety Keith Lewis had a tackle for the San Francisco 49ers (3-12) in 24-20 win over the St. Louis Rams (5-10). 49ers offensive lineman Adam Snyder started and wide receiver Marcus Maxwell was listed on the participation list.

Jacksonville Jaguars (11-4) defeated the Houston Texans 38-20. Jagaurs tight end George Wrighster was on the participation list for the game. Houston's record is now 2-13 for the season.

Peter Sirmon had four tackles and three assists from his linebacker position for the Tennessee Titans (4-11) in the 24-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins (8-7).

The Seattle Seahawks (13-2) solidified their lead as the best record in the NFC with a 28-13 win over the Indianapolis Colts (13-2) on Saturday. Seahawks running back Maurice Morris had nine carries for 34 yards and also caught a pass for three yards.

Cornerback Rashad Bauman had three tackles for the Cincinnati Bengals (11-4) but the Buffalo Bills (5-10) prevailed for a 37-27 win.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-5) beat the Atlanta Falcons (8-7) in overtime, 27-24 and Tampa Bay punter Josh Bidwell had five punts averaging 43.2 yards with a long of 54 and three inside the 20. His teammate Wesly Mallard was on the participation list.

The San Diego Chargers (9-6) was knocked out of the playoff list with a 20-7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs (9-6). Chiefs' receiver Samie Parker had four catches for 58 yards and a touchdown. Chargers' tight end Justin Peelle had a reception for no yards and his teammate Igor Olshansky had a tackle. San Diego quarterback A.J. Feeley was on the Not Active list.
