KWBP to carry Duck games

EUGENE – University of Oregon men's basketball games televised by the Oregon Sports Network will now air live in the Portland and Salem markets via television station KWBP-TV (channel 32) for the remainder of the 2005-06 season, beginning with the Ducks' Saturday night contest at the University of Washington.

Saturday's telecast from Seattle will begin at 5 p.m.

The live telecasts in the Eugene/Springfield, Medford and Klamath Falls markets will remain unchanged, airing in central Oregon on KEZI-TV (channel 9), in Medford on KDRV-TV and Klamath Falls on KDKF-TV in Klamath Falls.

The University's in-house network games, which are produced by Chambers Communications in Eugene, were formerly televised live on Comcast Cable (CNW14). Oregon basketball games will continued to be aired on Comcast on a delayed basis, with the games to be replayed Sundays at 8 p.m. on CNW14.
