Duck latest commit is happy it is over

Things can come down to the wire during the recruiting process, and Andre Crenshaw, a 5-foot-10, 185-pound athlete from Antelope Valley High School in Lancaster, Calif., knows that feeling. When making a final college choice, it came down to two schools - Oregon and Washington - and the last one to get in an official visit made the biggest impression.

"It just felt right," Crenshaw said of his decision to join the Ducks. "The people, the players, the coaching staff - everything just felt like it was the right thing for me. I'm coming to help them get a national championship."

Oregon is recruiting Crenshaw to play running back. "They were excited," he said when asked for the coaches' reaction to his decision.

And Crenshaw? "I'm relieved," he said with a chuckle. "Now I can just be a regular kid again." Crenshaw is ranked as the 70th-best running back in the country, according to Scout.com.
