Two Dismissed from Ducks Football

EUGENE – University of Oregon H-back Matt Bramow and defensive end Devlin Bayne have been dismissed from the school's football program for a violation of team rules, according to an announcement from the Ducks' head coach Mike Bellotti.

Bramow, a former first-team all-state wide receiver from South Eugene High School, redshirted last season in his first year at the collegiate level. Bayne did not play in two seasons at Oregon after earning all-division prep honors at Carlin (Nev.) High School.

Bramow did not accompany the team to San Diego for its Holiday Bowl appearance vs. Oklahoma due to disciplinary reasons while Bayne was not allowed to report to camp last fall until after the season opener while fulfilling the terms of a team suspension.

The Ducks finished last year ranked 12th in the country with a 10-2 record and will begin spring drills April 4.
