Heavy Fave

The Oregon Ducks are the heavy favorite of Skyview High School (Wash.) linebacker Isaac Bond (6-3, 240, 4.9), followed by Washington and Oregon State. None have offered.

Isaac Bond Profile

"If Oregon offered, I'd more than likely commit," said Bond, of Vancouver. "The assistant head coach, Neal Zoumboukos, sends me a lot of stuff telling me that they're keeping a close eye on me. I'm going to their junior day this weekend. This will be my first time meeting the coaches and the players. I've been to the campus before since it's only two hours away from my house. Their facilities are amazing…so state of the art.

"Washington is my number two right now. I like the campus a lot. The facilities are really nice…not as nice as at Oregon, but still really nice. I've gotten the most mail from them. I went to their junior day about a month ago and met the coaching staff. They seem really nice and sounds like they are really in-tune with the team."

Bond said he is focusing on the Pac-10 because he would like to go to a school that is relatively close to home. "I'd like to stay on the west coast…I know I probably won't be able to play early in the Pac-10 and that doesn't really bother me.

"I like Oregon State too," Bond said. "I haven't been to the campus. They've been sending me a lot of stuff. They wanted me to come to their junior day, but it's the same day as Oregon's so I couldn't go. I'm planning on visiting the campus on the way back from Oregon this weekend."

Bond said that his strength is his strength. "I'm very strong (bench: 315/squat: 405/power clean: 315). When guys try to block or hook me, I can usually overpower them…it's the same thing when I get double-teamed. My weakness is my flexibility. The more flexible you are, the less you are prone to injury."

Bond reports a 3.3 core GPA/May 6 first-time SAT.
