EUGENE, Ore. — Junior forward Ivan Johnson has been released from his scholarship by the University of Oregon and announced that he will transfer to a yet-to-be determined Division II college. The San Antonio, Texas, native would be eligible to play immediately at a Division II program.

"We wish Ivan well," said Oregon coach Ernie Kent. "We are currently assisting in every way possible to help Ivan relocate and find a situation that is the best fit for him."

Johnson appeared in 28 games and started six for the Ducks in 2005-06. He averaged 7.5 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.
