Newest Duck Commits on Saturday

The Oregon Ducks picked up their latest verbal commitment on Saturday when offensive lineman Carson York, 6-4.5, 282, Coeur D Alene (Ida.) Lake City HS, announced today that he will head to Eugene for his college career.

"I called Coach Bellotti on Saturday and told him. Coach Greatwood was so excited and said he was almost out of breath from jumping up and down," Carson York told "I just want to do my part to help them with recruiting, help them get the best players and win a Pac-10 championship."

York is conisdered to be the No. offensive line recruit in the Northwest and selected Oregon over Cal, Stanford, Arizona State, Oregon State and Washington State.
