Andre Christian Profile
"I grew up liking Cal because they are close to home and I knew a couple of guys who went there," Christian said. "They always have a pretty good team and I like their style of play. They have great coaches."
Christian says he plans to attend summer camps at Cal and USC. The only schools in his top five that he has already visited are Cal and Nebraska. "Nebraska is a nice and quiet place," Christian said. "You can really focus on football there because there aren't a lot of distractions. I also love how the fans love the team so much. It's all about football there.
"I need to feel comfortable around the campus and area and go somewhere that I can focus on football," Christian said. "I'd really like to go somewhere that cares a lot about football and the team. My parents said the decision is all on me and I'll do what my heart tells me."
Christian benches 240 pounds and has a 32-inch vertical jump. "I have good speed and great awareness. I'm very confident and you can see that on the field," Christian said. "I play aggressive and like to take charge. I'd like to improve on everything. I'm not satisfied and want to keep getting better. I plan to work on my footwork and back peddle."
He reports a 2.5 GPA and is waiting on his May SAT results.
