Roy Helu Profile
After school is out on Thursday, Helu is going to decide on exactly what football camps he will be attending this summer. So far, he has offers from Oregon, Nebraska and BYU.
All the schools have offered him a scholarship to play running back.
Helu lists (in no particular order) Oregon, Nebraska, USC, BYU and Ohio State as the programs he is most interested in.
His team finished 6-6 last season he has a pretty good idea of his strengths as a football player.
"I pass block, receive and run well," said Helu of his skills. "This is the first full season as a safety."
On the academic side he has some strengths too. He has an overall GPA of 3.03. He's taken his SAT's but does not have the results back yet.
Less than a week of school.
