Kenny Rowe Profile
Five-star defensive end Kenny Rowe (6-3, 216, 4.9) from Long Beach Poly (Calif.) has over 10 offers and remains very open. "I haven't narrowed it down yet," Rowe said. "I'm still looking at everybody. I'd like to play early, so I'll see how deep these teams are. I don't mind waiting, I just want to see how long. I haven't lived outside of California before so I'm open to moving away. I'll take my visits and see how I like it."
Despite denying a leader, Rowe favors Oregon, USC, Cal, Arizona, Nebraska and Arizona State. All of those schools have offered. He also has offers from Utah, San Diego State, Mississippi and New Mexico State. Rowe says that the Ducks are recruiting him the hardest.
"They send me a lot of handwritten letter," Rowe said. "They have real nice facilities and the coaches are top notch. They have a good team every year."
Rowe plans to attend the USC camp on June 26-27. "I think that USC will do pretty well this season," Rowe said. "They have really smart coaches and the players they recruit are always really good.
"I like the coaches at Cal too. They prepare their players well and I like their academics. It's a very prestigious school. I'd like to have my top five by the end of June. I need to start comparing these schools and just cut my list down."
He reports a 2.5 GPA and has a 690 SAT, which he is retaking in October.
