Cameron Collins Profile
"Stanford is still at the top of my list, but it's all up in the air right now. I'm content with the schools that have offered me and I want to commit early, but I'll definitely take my official visits," Collins said.
"Stanford is a great academic place to be. It's one of the best schools there are. Plus, they play Pac-10 football and I would really like to stay in the Pac-10 conference," he said.
"Oregon has a great football environment—period. I would have the opportunity to become the best player I could be at Oregon because they have the best equipment and the best of everything. It would just be up to me to work hard, but the resources would all be available for me.
"Stanford and Oregon are recruiting me the hardest right now, but Oregon State was the first to offer me and they have been pushing pretty hard ever since. The cornerbacks coach, Nigel Burton, is a genuine guy. He comes off as the type of guy who will help me succeed and who truly cares about my well-being," Collins said.
"I like Boise State because they've expressed to me that I could play early," he said. "Colorado just recently offered. I visited on August 1st, and I got a good feeling while I was there. The campus is beautiful with a really nice suburban atmosphere."
Collins bench presses 285, squats 365, and has a vertical jump of 40 inches.
He reports a 3.7 core GPA and a 1540 SAT.
