Game Day: Oregon vs Arizona State

Tempe, Ariz. -- The 14th ranked Oregon Ducks (3-0, 1-0) take on the Arizona State Sun Devils, (3-1, 0-1) today with kickoff scheduled for 12:30 p.m. in Sun Devil Statium. The Ducks coming off a bye week look to continue their run for the Pac-10 championship while the Sun Devils hope to rebound from a 49-21 loss last week to Cal. The game will be carried live on ABC.

The Ducks arrived in Tempe on Friday night without defensive tackle Jeremy Gibbs who stayed in Eugene healing up a sprained ankle suffered during Oklahoma game on Sept. 16th.

Oregon Head Coach Mike Bellotti indicated earlier this week that the ASU game is a chance for Oregon to "vindicate" its record after a controversal conclusion to the Oklahoma game played in Eugene.

The Ducks are expected to wear their all-white uniform with a green helmet for the contest. Weather conditions will be hot and temperatures could reach as high as 103 degrees on Saturday in the Phoenix area.

Dan Fouts will call the play-by-play of the game for ABC with Tim Brant and Jack Arute on the sidelines. Oregon Sports Network will re-televise the game along the OSN TV network at 11:30 p.m. tonight. OSN Radio with Jerry Allen, Mike Jorgensen and Jay Allen will start things off with a pre-game show starting at 11:30 a.m.
