Roster numbers for the new players

Wednesday morning marked the first day as a Duck for 28 incoming freshman and transfers. The list is composed mostly of the players that were recruited and sent National Letters of Intent back in February. However, there are also a number of walk-ons included on the list.

According to an eDuck source on the ground (Scooter, the #1-eDuck Subscriber) had the following observations:

"...the big highlight of the practice was (Haloti) Ngata planting a would be blocker on his backside during punt/kickoff coverage practice.

Ngata and (Junior) Siavii were both impressive and there appears to be alot of speed in the secondary. Matt Toeania has the build of a fullback already. The newcomers mostly practiced with their position coaches, conditioning and worked on kick coverage. I can't wait to see Ngata and Siavii go against the veterans. They had it way too easy against the newcomers"
