Constant Contact three-star offensive lineman Darrion Weems (6-5, 265, 5.1) from Woodland Hills Taft (Calif.) has narrowed down his choices to Oregon, Florida and Nebraska and they have all offered. Rounding out his top five are Arizona State and Michigan, although the Wolverines are no longer recruiting him.

Darrion Weems Profile

"It's basically down to Oregon, Florida and Nebraska," Weems said. "I need to take my visits because that'll decide everything. I want to get to know the coaches better and really get a feeling for each campus. I've lived in a lot of different areas of the country, so the location won't make too much of a difference."

Weems hasn't set up any official visits yet and doesn't plan to do so until after the season. His team is currently 2-3.

He says that Florida is now recruiting him the hardest. "They seem to keep in constant contact with me," Weems said. "They talk with me about everything and said that I'd have a great chance to play for a national championship. They are a very confident team and are having a great year.

"Oregon was doing really well until the California game," Weems said. "I was really surprised they lost. After they beat Oklahoma I really thought they would win the Pac-10.

"Nebraska is still rebuilding. They have a good program that is talent rich, so they'll be on top again soon."

He reports a 2.7 GPA and will be taking the SAT on October 14.
