Women Ousts Colorado 70-60

The Oregon women jumped out to an 11-0 lead and never looked back on way to a 70-60 win over Colorado in the 2006 version of the Papè Jam.

Eleanor Haring was the leading scorer for the Ducks with 18 points on 8-for-13 performance, she was also Oregon's leading rebounder with eight boards. Kaela Chapdelain chipped in 16 for the Ducks' cause while Tamika Nurse added 11.

Colorado had four players in double-figure scoring. Jackie McFarland had 14 to go along with 15 rebounds. Jasmina Ilic had 11, Whitney Houston posted 13 and Biana Smith scored 11.

A total of 47 turn overs were committed by both teams in the game.

Oregon led at halftime 31-22 and shot 42.4 percent. The Ducks finished the game shooting 45.3 percent on 24-of-43.
