Pac-10 Announces Revised 2007 Schedule

EUGENE – The University of Oregon will take part in one of two Thursday night Pacific-10 Conference match-ups during the 2007 football season that is part of the league's new television contract that encompasses ESPN as one of its primary TV partners, according to an announcement Friday by the Pac-10 office.

Oregon's game at Arizona, which was previously scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 10, in Tucson, Ariz., has been shifted to Thursday, Nov. 15, with the start time scheduled for 6 p.m. PST.

To help accommodate the change, the Ducks' game at UCLA which was previously slated for Nov. 17 will be switched to Saturday, Nov. 24, with the home finale vs. Oregon State to be moved back to Dec. 1.

In addition to Oregon's national television appearance at Arizona, the school has been promised that its games against UCLA and Oregon State also will be part of the Pac-10's television package as well.

Although the former ABC Sports division, which previously served as the Pac-10 primary TV partner, was fully integrated into ESPN in September of 2006 under the brand of ESPN on ABC, this marks the first season that Pac-10 home games will be televised on ESPN.

The second Pac-10 game televised on ESPN will be USC at Arizona State on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22.

The remainder of the Ducks' 2007 football schedule will remain unaffected. It will feature Oregon's first seven-game home schedule since it played eight home games in 2002.
