Latest Duck Had Big Year

The Oregon Ducks looked to West Covina High School in Los Angeles for recruit No. 29 for the class of 2007. Safety/fullback William Wallace will sign a letter of intent to Oregon next Wednesday.

"Yeah, I'm going to be signing on wednesday," Wallace wrote to eDuck.com via his myspace.com acccount.

William Avier Wallace, had a school record 2,148 all-purpose yards, with eight touchdowns, 1,142 yards rushing, 378 yards recieving. On defense he had 72 tackles, four interceptions, and 12 plays break ups. His team finished with a 8-4 record but lost in the second round of the playoffs to Trabuco Hills

Wallace was All-League, All-Valley, All-Area and has a CIF championship ring along with current Oregon Duck Walter Thurmond in 2004.

William also runs track (intermediate hurdles) and is looking for state.

He chose Oregon over San Diego State and Utah State.
