"Everyone calls me that now," Turner told HR on Tuesday night after his 85-yard return of a squib kick with a mere three seconds remaining that defeated Mesquite Poteet 18-13 last Friday night.
But that's not all the five-foot-ten, 185 lb senior has done. Besides the winning return, Turner has rushed for 334 yards on 52 carries with two touchdowns in Terrell's first two contests--both wins.
But Turner had listed strong safety as being his projected position in college. Has that now changed?
"Schools are recruiting me as an athlete," he continued. "I had 141 tackles with four interceptions at strong safety as a junior and 70 tackles with two interceptions as a sophomore, so I can play on either side of the ball. My goal is to play as a true freshman and I'm confident I have the ability to accomplish that."
And who's calling?
"Right now, I have offers from Oklahoma, Louisiana Tech and Arkansas," Turner said. "Other schools that are showing interest and that are interested in are Oregon, Illinois, Texas A&M, Boston College, Tennessee, Arizona, Texas, Alabama, Purdue and Oklahoma State."
And with "Prime Time", that list could continue to grow.
