DL Has Two Sacks In Opener

Despite only playing in six defensive series, Long Beach Poly (Calif.) defensive lineman Kevin Brown was dominant. Brown recorded two sacks, one of which caused a fumble and the other went for a safety and totaled five tackles in the Jackrabbits 45-0 win over Westchester.

Brown left the game in the second half after rolling his ankle and was on crutches the rest of the night. He said he's fine now and will be ready to go when Poly takes on Kahuku (Hawaii) this Saturday.

Brown, 6-2, 290, 4.5 is a four-star recruit as rated by TheInsiders.com. Oregon has made an offer Kevin and he lists Oregon along with Florida State, Michigan, Syracuse, UCLA, UNLV, USC and Washington. UCLA, UNLV and Washington have also offered Kevin a scholarship.
