Kent to Sign Basketball DVD Wednesday

EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon men's basketball coach Ernie Kent will be signing autographs Wednesday between noon and 2 p.m. at the UO main campus bookstore in conjunction with the release of the 2007 basketball highlight video.

The DVD is on sale now at all Duck Shop locations and online at The DVD retails for $14.95.

For fans unable to attend Wednesday's signing, the UO athletic department will be conducting an online auction of 10 autographed copies on

The DVD allows fans to relive the excitement of the Ducks' 2007 season that featured a Pac-10 tournament championship and Oregon's second trip to the NCAA Elite 8 in five years.

Some of the features on the special edition DVD include:

* Where It All Started - A look back to the summer of 2006 where hard work at Hayward Field laid the footwork for the season.

* NCAA Tournament All-Access - An all access, behind-the-scenes look at what it's like to travel with the team on the road to the Elite 8, from the Eugene all the way to the opening tip.

* Victory in St. Louis -- A look inside the Oregon locker room following the Ducks' exciting Sweet 16 victory against UNLV.

* Alternate Commentary from Ernie Kent -- Coach Ernie Kent offers his voice over commentary about Oregon's historic run through the regular season, the Pac-10 tournament and the NCAA Tournament.

The DVD also contains a bonus feature, "Oregon Basketball, 2002 - Championship Season." Available for the first time in DVD format, the 2002 video features Frederick Jones, Luke Ridnour and Luke Jackson bringing the Ducks the 2002 Pac-10 championship and a trip to the NCAA Elite 8.
