Smith carried the ball 21 times and gained 115 yards scoring two touchdowns. Smith is the first Duck ever to rush for more than 100 yards in the first for games of a season. Smith joins Bobby Moore (Ahmad Rashad) and Saladin McCullough as the only running backs in Oregon history to record four consecutive 100 yard games rushing.

Wangler ended the game recording one solo tackle, one assisted tackle and recovered a fumble in the third quarter. Unfortunately for Wangler, he suffered a shoulder sprain and may be doubtful for the Arizona game on October 6th. Fuqua ended the day rushing for 88 yards on 24 carries.

Howry has caught a pass in 39 straight games and is within three games of a Pac-10 record for consecutive games with a reception. Dennis Northcutt from Arizona holds the Pac-10 record with 42 consecutive games with at least one catch. Howry also climbed to the top ten in all-ppurpose yardage with 61 yards against PSU. He passed James Leicht (2,957/1945-47) and finished the game with 2,960 career all-purpose yards.

Parker is averaging 50.9 yards per touchdown catch in his career. He has a total of eight touchdown receptions, totalling 407 yards. Parker's solo touchdown catch against Portland State of 31 yards was the shortest scoring catch of his career. Parker also has had at least one touchdown catch in the last five games.
