Kenny Frank is a 6-0, 190-pound athlete from Cerritos, California and you can't call Kenny a sleeper. What might be harder to gauge is which side of the line he'll play in college but one thing is already clear - colleges are lining up to get a crack at his signature on a letter-of-intent.
"I don't really have a preference between running back or defensive back," Frank
told TheInsiders.com. "Most of the schools said they want me to come in and they'll find the best place for me. I can play corner or safety and some schools even think I can play weak side linebacker. As long as I'm on the field, I'm fine with anything."
Frank has nine total scholarship offers right now from Oregon, Cal, Arizona State, LSU, Kansas, Colorado, Northwestern, Arizona and Washington.
Oregon, Arizona, Cal and LSU are the colleges that have been recruiting Frank the hardest lately and he's already set up trips to two of them.
"I have trips set up to Cal (Oct. 18) and Oregon (Oct. 25)," Frank said. "I also told LSU I would visit there sometime in November and I'll visit ASU sometime in December. I'm keeping that 5th trip open for now."
Academically, Frank is carrying a 2.7 GPA and scored an 870 on the SAT.
Frank is a three-star player as rated by TheInsiders.com and is ranked 39 nationally as a running back.
