Ducks extend lead at halftime to 32-7

Dennis Dixon found Derrick Jones for a 61-yards touchdown pass and the Ducks upped their lead over the Wolverines 32-7.

Oregon did what ever they wanted in the second quarter including a Statue of Liberty play when Dixon gave the ball to Jonathan Stewart for a 15-yard gain. Then later on Dixon held onto the ball on a fake Statue of Liberty and strolled into the end zone for a 9-yard touchdown run.

Stewart also scored on a 2-yard run on a 4th down conversion play.

A distraught home crowd began booing the Wolverines midway through the 2nd quarter and when Michigan attempted to score a touchdown with 35 seconds left in the half, the crowd's morale disappeared.
