UO vs WSU - the pasting in pictures

Oregon laid the wood to WSU today and the defense was fierce. Here is the first installment of eDuck's exclusive photos, including a photo of what may have been Jeremiah Johnson's last carry of the season.

Jeremiah Johnson had a stellar game, despite being injured later in the first half. Here he scores his first of two touchdowns in the game.

WSU moved the ball well in the first quarter, but two interceptions, one by John Bacon and this one by Jerome Boyd (13) sent the message that this was Oregon's day. Notice how Boyd grabs the ball right off his own helmet to make an amazing catch.

Jonathan Stewart was solid today, though it didn't seem he was needed much. Here he rushes for a chunk of his 66 yards.

The Oregon defense shut down WSU's running game, giving up only 63 yards on 30 carries. You can see the intensity in Patrick Chung (15) as he hunts down WSU running back Dwight Tardy (31) and stops him for no gain.

Will Tukuafu (39) got into the act, forcing this Alex Brink (10) fumble that led to more Duck points in a game that was over by the end of the first half.

Jeremiah Johnson (24), suffered what looked like a pretty serious knee injury on this tackle after what was shaping up to be a spectacular day. He finished with 63 yards on just 4 carries and added two TD's to pace the Ducks in the first half.

The rumors of his demise were greatly exaggerated! Josh Tschirgi puts a block on none other than Lance Broadus (9), the infamous mystery Duck recruit who was rumored to be everywhere from working at Target to hunting Big Foot in Alaska. It seems he ended up a Cougar.
